Mickey Huff is a California-based Professor of History at Diablo Valley College and an Executive Committee member of the Media Freedom Foundation (MFF). He’s also the former Associate Director of Project Censored (PC), the media democracy advocacy group that publishes vital news stories suppressed or censored by the corporate media.
Each year, PC ranks the top 25 and publishes them in its yearbook, Censored: Media Democracy in Action. The latest Censored 2010: The Top 25 Censored Stories of 2008 – 09 can be purchased at projectcensored.org/store.

Ramzy Baroud is a veteran Palestinian-American journalist and former Al-Jazeera producer. He’s also the founder and Editor-in-Chief of Palestine Chronicle, a vital resource for information on Israel/Palestine, the Middle East, and much more.
Baroud has written many articles, commentaries and short stories and is the author of several books, including his latest titled, “My Father was a Freedom Fighter.”
His book and its importance will be discussed.
Until returning to America, George Katsiaficas was a visiting American Professor of Humanities and Sociology at Chonnam National University, Gwangju, South Korea where he taught and did research on the 1980s and 1990s East Asian uprisings.
He’s currently Wentworth Institute of Technology Professor of humanities and social sciences in Boston. He’s also a Fullbright Fellow, longtime activist, and author of numerous books, including “The Imagination of the New Left: The Global Analysis of 1968.”
The two Koreas and East Asia will be discussed.
Robert Abele teaches humanities and philosophy at Diablo Valley College, CA and has authored four books, including “Democracy Gone” and his newest titled, “Anatomy of a Deception” about the Iraq invasion, occupation, and preparation for the next deception.
Obama’s permanent war agenda will be discussed.
Henry C.K. Liu is the featured guest on The Progressive Radio News Hour

Henry C.K. Liu developed an interest in economics and international relations when he participated in interdisciplinary work on urban and regional development as a Professor at UCLA, Harvard and Columbia. He’s how chairman of a private New York-based investment group.
The global economic crisis will be discussed and Liu’s outlook for 2010 and beyond.
