US-Led NATO Invents Nonexistent China Threat

China is rising, the US declining, its ruling class unable to reverse what’s been going on for some time.
A report titled NATO 2030 (due out Tuesday) says (nonbelligerent, nonthreatening) Russia is the alliance’s main threat (sic) — while calling for focusing more on China.
According to Reuters, the report includes 138 proposals for dealing with China, a NATO official saying:
“China is no longer the benign trading partner that the West had hoped for. It is the rising power of our century and NATO must adapt,” adding:
Challenging China should focus on maintaining a technological advantage and other actions to stay ahead of its advances.
The report also calls for forging closer ties to non-NATO countries and deterrence in space.
Ahead of a December 1 and 2 meeting of alliance foreign affairs ministers, NATO secretary general Jens Stoltenberg addressed what they’ll discuss.
They’ll address Russia’s formidable military superiority over the West, its super-weapons outclassing the best in the arsenals of its member countries.
“(M)inisters will discuss what more we should do to respond to Russia’s growing military activity,” said Stotenberg.
Left unexplained is that Moscow spends a small fraction of what Washington devotes to belligerence, militarism, its rage to dominate other nations, and the Pentagon’s worldwide empire of bases in every continent.
Russia is at peace with other nations, threatening none, seeking cooperative relations, confrontation nowhere.
It’s polar opposite how US-controlled NATO operates, a killing machine that threatens humanity, Stotenberg and his predecessors operating as imperial tools.
He also addressed what he called “the global shift in the balance of power with the rise of China.”
Like Russia, it prioritizes world peace, stability, and cooperative relations with other countries — threatening none, confrontation with none.
While saying “China is not our adversary,” Stolenberg’s rhetoric shifted by claiming the following:
“China does not share our values (sic).”
“It does not respect fundamental human rights (sic) and tries to intimidate other countries (sic).”
China’s rise poses “important challenges to our security (sic).”
On December 1 and 2, alliance foreign ministers are discussing proposals included in the NATO 2030 report.
Separately, Reuters said EU countries may ally with the US to challenge “the strategic challenge presented by China’s growing international assertiveness (sic).”
On December 11 and 12, they’ll discuss a proposal on this issue.
The only threats posed by China, Russia, Iran, and other independent nations free from US control are invented, not real.
In stark contrast, the US, NATO, and nations in cahoots with their imperial agenda threaten everyone everywhere.
