NYT Fake News on China and Russia
by Stephen Lendman (stephenlendman.org – Home – Stephen Lendman)
Times reports on invented US enemies and adversaries are recitations of propaganda talking points supplied by hardliners in Washington.
According to the Times, China’s growing prominence on the world stage poses a challenge to US imperial interests.
Ahead of the first face-to-face meeting between senior Biden regime officials and key Chinese foreign affairs and security counterparts in Anchorage, Alaska Thursday, the Times said interventionist Blinken is “right” about Beijing.
Calling China “the biggest geopolitical test of the 21st century” reflects US hostility toward the nation and its leadership for invented reasons.
In sharp contrast to US war on humanity at home and abroad, China engages cooperatively with other nations, shunning confrontation.
What’s important to explain, the Times and other establishment media consistently conceal in press agent reports for powerful US interests.
The Times: It’s “naive to expect a communist country (sic) to play by free-market rules (sic).”
Slamming its “subsidies and state-owned enterprises” ignored longstanding US lavish handouts to monied interests and publicly controlled enterprises.
Currently operating ones include the Commodity Credit Corporation, Federal Prison Industries using virtual slave labor behind bars, the Export-Import Bank of the US, Farm Credit Banks, Federal Home Loan Banks, Tennessee Valley Authority, among others that once included the Bank of the United States.
It was an 18th/19th century version of today’s Wall Street owned and controlled Fed.
The Times supports US hostile-to-free-trade tariffs on China and other draconian actions as part of its war on the country by other means.
Its ruling authorities threaten no one. Falsely claiming otherwise, the Times maintains the myth of “American democracy (sic).”
It exists in fantasy form alone, never the real thing, never “deliver(ing) for ordinary people.”
It’s clearly not happening now at a time of mandated harshness, pretending hazardous to health mass-jabbing for seasonal flu, now deceptively called covid, is beneficial.
Separately, the Times endorsed the phony claim of Russian US election meddling — despite no evidence whatever suggesting it.
The Times: “A report released Tuesday made clear that the intelligence community believed that Russia had long attacked Mr. Biden for the benefit of Mr. Trump (sic).”
“But throughout 2020, senior officials bowed to Mr. Trump’s hostility toward any public emphasis of the threat from Russia, and they offered Congress and the public incomplete or misleading portraits of the intelligence on foreign influence in the election (sic).”
Unlike longstanding US interference in the political process of numerous countries worldwide, no evidence exists to show meddling by Russia or any other countries in US elections.
Claims otherwise by the US intelligence community and its press agent media are fabricated.
No corroborating evidence ever accompanies claims because none exist.
The Times is a serial offender, state-approved propaganda its specialty, especially on all things related to nations free from US control — notably Russia, China and Iran.
Washington’s only foreign threats are invented.
No real ones exist so they have to be invented in pursuit of its imperial rage to control other nations, their resources and populations.
That’s how the scourge of US imperialism operates.
Instead of condemning it, the Times and other establishment media support what represents an unparalleled threat to everyone everywhere.
